Yesterday (Tuesday, 28 May), it was announced that Alys Hedd Jones from Cardiff is the winner of the 2024 Eisteddfod yr Urdd Maldwyn Drama Medal. Transport for Wales has released figures showing rail performance improvements since the start of this year (2024). Since January 2024, over 80% of TfW trains have arrived on time or within 3 minutes of their scheduled arrival, with most recent statistics for March indicating that this has now risen to 85% of rail services. Bridgend County Borough Council can confirm that talks are ongoing with the Ospreys about the team potentially relocating to the Dunraven Brewery Field from the 2025/26 season onwards.
