Home sales continued to increase in number in Wales during April according to the latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Residential Market Survey as a higher number of listings and good buyer demand led to more transactions taking place. A net balance of 35% of surveyors in Wales reported that house sales rose through the month of April, the fifth consecutive month that this balance has been on an upward trajectory. Ancala, the leading independent infrastructure manager, has agreed to sell its 50% interest in Dragon LNG Group (Dragon) to VTTI, a global leader in energy storage and developer of energy infrastructure. The news comes after an active ownership period in which LNG volumes through the terminal increased by approximately three times1. Dragon is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal located in Milford Haven, Wales. It is one of three LNG terminals in the UK. A former aircraft engineer and banker who switched careers to become a teacher has been appointed as the new headmaster of Wales’s newest and fastest growing independent school. Ian Lloyd, 51, originally from Wallasey where he attended The Mosslands School, will take over the reins at Myddelton College, in Denbigh, in September. Consultation is under way to gauge people’s views on some potential measures the council could consider in future to drive up recycling figures. Richard Cook of Haverfordwest, had been issued with a Community Protection Notice (CPN) following repeated incidents where refuse and household waste was left outside the property. The situation reached a level where it was considered to be a risk to public health, safety and welfare and the rubbish was attracting rats.
