The work of one of Wales’s greatest composers will be celebrated at a concert to mark the 90th anniversary of his birth. Welsh Ministers have approved a milestone application to create an 85MW wind farm and energy storage facility in Garn Fach, south of Newton in Powys. Savills Cardiff supported the application for the scheme on behalf of EDF Renewables UK, which referred to the decision as ‘a major step forward in our commitment to renewable energy and combatting climate change in Wales’. A man has been jailed after racially abusing a woman in Caernarfon. Michael Owen Williams, of Dolfor, Pwllheli, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Tuesday October 22nd after admitting to racially aggravated harassment and breaching a sexual offences prevention order (SOPO). On August 9th, a woman was at Caernarfon bus station with her children when 36-year-old Williams approached her and began racially abusing her unprovoked.
