Ian Price, Director of Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Wales, has joined Thomas Carroll Group as a non-executive Director. Ian has been at CBI Wales for 19 years, having initially joined as Assistant Director for Wales and the South West before becoming Director for Wales in 2017. Employees at Cardiff Bus have raised over £8,000 for the company’s charity of the year – the MND Association – after a year of fundraising activities. The bus operator, which serves Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan, dedicated a year of support to the charity after it was nominated by staff. “Stalking is a serious crime that causes long term psychological harm on victims. It is extremely important that we provide the best service to victims.” These are the words of North Wales Police’s new stalking co-ordinator, Kerry Sidney. Her role is to improve the way the force recognises and responds to reports of stalking. Walkers can now put their best foot forward along a new Community Miles route in Denbighshire. A new addition has been launched to the Community Miles route scheme, covering the Nantglyn area. Community Miles routes are designed with both communities and visitors in mind. They take roughly a couple of hours to complete and along the way introduce walkers to local businesses and transport routes, show hidden gems and help with physical and mental wellbeing.
