A Pembrokeshire man must remove abandoned cars, scrap and other waste from his land within weeks or face a potential prison sentence following Pembrokeshire County Council court action. John Goruffydd Arthur Haffield of Fron Haul, Clynderwen, has until May 9th 2024 to clear land east of Gower Villa Lane, Clynderwen after District Judge Pratt granted an injunction to the Council. The Council sought the injunction after Mr Haffield failed to take action to clear the land following a Council Enforcement Notice issued in 2018. Pupils and staff at Llanilltud Faerdref Primary School in Church Village have now moved into their community’s newly-built, first-class education facilities – with the brand new building having opened for the first time. A Wrexham shoplifter has been jailed following three incidents of thefts in the city. Adam Roberts of Hampson Avenue, Wrexham appeared at Mold Magistrates Court yesterday, Thursday, April 25th, where he admitted three counts of theft from a shop. The 37-year-old was arrested and charged Wednesday (April 24th) for the offences. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison for the shoplifting incidents and breaching a community order, issued following previous incidents of theft.
