South Wales Police can confirm that two men from Somerset have been charged with the murder of Andrew Main. Joseph Dix, 26, of Frome, and Macauley Ruddock, 27, of Bath, appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Friday, 13 September. They both pleaded not guilty and a trial has now been set for January, 2025. Andrew Main, 33, from Falkirk, Scotland, was involved in an incident on July 17. Thousands of runners and supporters enjoyed Admiral Swansea Bay 10k (Sunday September 15). Crowds started gathering at around 8.30am as runners prepared for the main race. This headed west from the Recreation Ground to Mumbles and then back along the Prom to the finish line on Mumbles Road near the Recreation Ground. Swansea Bay City Deal has appointed Virgin Media O2 Business to build a dedicated dark fibre network to 36 public sector sites throughout Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. The new network will improve digital connectivity across the region with local authorities, healthcare and education partners all benefiting. IRONMAN Wales returns to Pembrokeshire in just over a week and there will be full and partial road closures in and around the south of the County.
