A number of popular outdoor attractions are set to reopen in Swansea this Saturday promising a new season of family fun. Swansea Council-run attractions due to open include the Swansea Bay Rider land train, crazy golf in Singleton Park and Mumbles’ Southend Gardens – and the pedalos at the at Singleton boating lake. More than 40 community groups in north Wales have recently been celebrating receiving grants from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in Wales. Many of the grants focus on encouraging communities to live healthier lives, developing skills and confidence, as well as supporting people’s wellbeing.
