Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has given her backing to Rhyl High School’s alumni network, which launched this week. On Sunday, June 18, 2023, two cars were identified by drone, performing doughnuts in the Tesco car park and nearly colliding with other cars. Neath Port Talbot Shopmobility is introducing an Aberavon Seafront mobility scooter service for the first time and is also offering to make life easier for customers with a new door-to-door pick-up initiative. The two new services are available to registered users of the scheme from this week. RCT Council has received planning consent for the next two elements of the Rhondda Fach Active Travel Route – to build local community links in Maerdy, and upgrade the existing community route between Ferndale and Tylorstown. The Rhondda Fach Active Travel Route will create a 10km pedestrian and cycle path between Maerdy and Tylorstown, across five phases. There are more than 22,500 young carers and young adult carers in Wales –almost two carers in every classroom. A Wrexham supporter has been issued with a five-year Football Banning Order for disorder-related offences at an away game. Lewis James Hallam, 31, of Hampden Road, Wrexham appeared at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 6 June. He pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour whilst attending Wrexham’s League Two fixture against Accrington Stanley on 18 November, 2023.
