Last year, Bastille were announced as the headline act for this year’s DEPOT in the Castle on Saturday 8th July. Now organisers have revealed the full festival line up, and it promises to be a date to remember.

Announced today is Example – the multi-talented singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer behind global hits like 2011’s ‘Changed the Way You Kissed Me’ and ‘Stay Awake’. Fans can expect to hear all his biggest hits as he makes his debut at the iconic outdoor venue.

Example will be joined at the castle by veteran of the UK urban music scene, General Levy, along with breakthrough acts Caity Baser, Cat Burns and Tom Jenkins.

This is the sixth year of the homegrown Cardiff festival, which is based in the iconic surroundings of the castle grounds. Previous DEPOT in the Castle headliners over the years have included Craig David, Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit and The Fratellis.

DEPOT in the Castle is organised and run by DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of The DEPOT – one of Cardiff’s most successful events venues.

Nick Saunders, founder of The DEPOT said: “We are thrilled to announce our full line up for DEPOT in the Castle 2023. It’s our sixth year of putting on this event and it’s always a real highlight in our annual calendar.”
