The Entertainer will open its new store at St David’s Cardiff on Saturday, 10 October, with visits from Bluey and Muffin and prize giveaways planned for the day.
Bluey and Muffin will meet shoppers every hour on the hour between 11am and 3pm on Saturday as part of the toy retailer’s grand opening event at the shopping centre.
St David’s said visitors will also have the chance to win prizes and see the latest toys in action with demonstrations.
The opening marks The Entertainer’s relocation from Queen’s Arcade to St David’s, with the new shop around 25% larger than its Cardiff city centre store at Queen’s Arcade.
The retailer announced its plans to move earlier this year and has confirmed the new St David’s store will open on Saturday, 10 October.
The Entertainer stocks branded toys, games, arts and crafts, outdoor toys and costumes.
According to St David’s, the retailer has over 170 stores nationwide and more than 30 years of expertise.
