A Careers Fair will take place in Sobell Leisure Centre, Aberdare, Wednesday, September 21, 10am-4pm. A ‘quiet hour’ is available 3pm-4pm.

If you’re looking for a fresh start, a career change, or starting your working life, there’s something for you.

The Careers Fair gives you a chance to speak with employers, explore career options, and see jobs on offer.

This is the first face-to-face Careers Fair since 2019, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone!

Councillor Maureen Webber, Deputy Leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, said:

“The Careers Fair is incredibly popular, and I’m glad to see it back with a bang!

“As a council, we are committed to giving our residents opportunities to access quality employment. The Careers Fair brings local employers together in one place and shows that, as a Council, we want to provide residents with the chance to access these jobs.

“There is so much on offer on the day. I encourage everyone looking for something new, something different, or starting out to pop down and take a look at what’s on offer.”

Over 50 organisations will be taking part, and they are eager to hire for immediate roles suitable for all in the community.

A wide variety of training and education partners will be on hand to provide career advice and guidance. Partners include C4W, Careers Wales, Elite Supported Employment, Coleg Y Cymoedd, USW and many more.
