Drivers are being warned of significant roadworks on the M4 in Neath Port Talbot, with closures affecting junctions 40 and 41 from 1 March. Traffic Wales has confirmed that the eastbound exit slip at Junction 40 Taibach will be closed 24 hours a day from 8pm on Saturday 1 March until 6am on Monday 17 March. In addition, there will be overnight closures on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 41 Pentyla and Baglan and Junction 40 Taibach. Swansea Council is appealing for witnesses after a spate of vandalism at a much-loved community park left 70 trees damaged. The trees planted in Parc Llewelyn have been targeted by determined vandals looking to kill them off. The issue has been reported to local police and anyone who knows who’s responsible can report to them, quoting crime number 2600037943.
