Ryanair has launched its Summer 2026 schedule for Cardiff, confirming five routes including popular sunshine destinations and a key city break link. The airline will operate services to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Tenerife, alongside Dublin. Extra frequencies will run on four of the routes, with Alicante, Dublin, Faro and Malaga all seeing additional services this summer. A man from Swansea has been jailed after he was found guilty of rape. 35-year-old Yogesh Parmar, from Mount Pleasant, pleaded not guilty to the offence but was found guilty on January 26. Parmar was also found guilty of engaging in coercive/controlling behaviour, having also pleaded not guilty to this offence. He has been sentenced to 11 years in prison. Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver failed to stop and travelled on the wrong side of the road in Swansea. South Wales Police said the incident happened at around 3.50pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Officers were dealing with a failure to stop involving a white Citroen DS3, registration LR13 AXV, which was heading down Fabian Way.
