Beach walkers are being advised to keep clear of Portuguese Man o’ Wars that are being reported washed ashore along the Pembrokeshire coast. The Man o’ War is made up of a colony of organisms working together, and often mistaken for a jellyfish. Preparations are being made for the return of Swansea’s Christmas Parade – and it’s set to be one of the best yet. The event was last staged – to huge public acclaim – in 2019. Ground investigations will begin from Monday at Ynysybwl Road in Glyncoch – requiring a change to local traffic arrangements over the next three weeks to inform future embankment stabilisation work at this location. In May, the Council appointed consultants to further investigate the ongoing issue affecting the highway.
