Welsh aluminium fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium have secured three new contracts for builds in the south west to benefit their local communities. The first of the three builds is Bath Quays South, an office building with a total of 45,000sqft over five open plan floors. The building will include basement parking, cycle storage, showers, and lockers and has been designed to be flexible with the ability to subdivide floors in accordance with occupier requirements. The Child of Wales Awards, an event that celebrates the inspirational achievements of children across Wales, due to take place in the Celtic Manor on April 3, has been postponed because of concerns overCoronavirus (COVID-19). A leading Welsh respiratory consultant is urging smokers to quit now or risk suffering more serious complications if they develop Covid-19. Keir Lewis, Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Swansea University, warns that smokers could be at greater risk of going on to develop the Covid-19 lung illness from the coronavirus. A patient diagnosed with Coronavirus in Wales has died after contracting the virus, Public Health Wales has confirmed. The patient, a 68 year old man was being treated at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital and is understood to have underlying health conditions. The total number of people who have tested positive for Coronavirus currently stand at 124, after a further 30 people have been diagnosed in 24 hours.
