The National Lottery Community Fund announced nearly £300,000 has been awarded to communities in Wales to tackle climate change, thanks to National Lottery players. 29 groups across Wales have been awarded grants totalling £295,952 from The National Lottery Community Fund to make small improvements in their communities to tackle the climate emergency. A blind man from Cardiff says that his eye condition will not hold him back as he prepares to take to the skies for a sponsored skydive.  Daniel Thomas, 32, will be taking part in the RNIB Big Jump fundraising challenge at Swansea Airfield on Saturday 28 March 2020.   The Big Jump aims to get as many people as possible free-falling together over one weekend in twelve locations across the UK. Welsh Government Minister Kirsty Williams visited Willowtown Primary school in Ebbw Vale to launch the GoConstruct Educate resources, which introduces the construction industry to the school curriculum in a bid to get more youngsters to consider a future career in construction.
