Businesses in Wales want Chancellor Rishi Sunak to prioritise road improvements as part of any promises made around infrastructure investment in his first Budget, according to insight from the Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking Business Barometer. Wales rugby fans and bus users in Cardiff are being urged to plan their journeys ahead of time as the Six Nations returns to the city this weekend. Travellers are being reminded by Cardiff Bus of diversions and road closures which are set to come into force in the city centre on Saturday as Wales take on Scotland at the Principality Stadium. An extremely frightened and cold cat has been freed from a three-inch narrow gap after becoming stuck between a garage and a wall. The RSPCA were alerted to the distressed cat this morning (9 March) at 7.30am at Conybeare Road, Penarth. Swansea University staff and students celebrated International Women’s Day with a group cycle ride from the University campuses to the Civic Centre. Riders from across the city joined the group that was led by a team of British Cycling accredited Ride Leaders. The University offered free use of the Santander Cycles for the ride which aimed to encourage more women into cycling.
