A man from Swansea has been jailed after being found guilty of multiple counts of sexual assault. 71-year-old Stewart Read, from Gorseinon, intentionally touched two separate victims on multiple occasions. He was ultimately found guilty of nine counts of sexual assault on a female victim. Read has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison. Bridge Street in Pontypridd will be closed to eastbound traffic this Sunday morning (21 September) while an inspection of Victoria Bridge is carried out. Team UK have delivered an impressive performance at the EuroSkills competition in Denmark, with Wales playing a key role winning a third of the medals secured. Team UK walked away with a bronze medal and five medallions of excellence. Wales received two medallions of excellence. A young couple have been able to start their own gardening business thanks to a £10,000 micro loan from the Development Bank of Wales. Based in Newtown, Powys, Slate and Soil Gardens is run by lifelong gardeners Luke Aldridge, aged 31, and Stephanie Hicks, aged 25.
