E-sgol an online learning resource originally set up to assist sixth form provision in rural areas is now available across Wales with the latest e-sgol partnership delivering courses in Monmouthshire secondary schools. Launched in 2018 e-sgol aims to ensure that learners can study subjects that may not have otherwise been available to them including a variety of languages and criminology. Recently, we brought you news about a drug dealer Jack Thomas, who was jailed for 30 months at Cardiff Crown Court for being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine. As the “Summer” season comes to an end, The National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, is getting ready to drop its water temperature and prepare for the return of cold-water Swims. After a hugely successful pilot last year, cold-water swims will return to Lido Ponty on October 19. The water temperature will be set at a reduced 15 degrees and weekend sessions will be filled with adventurous swimmers.
