An influential group of young people are calling for a radical new approach to tackling drugs. The North Wales Youth Commission appointed by the region’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Arfon Jones, say a less “authoritarian” style of policing is needed. They have published a new report recommending that people with problematic drug use should be supported rather than criminalised.
