Students from Cardiff and Vale College have won first, second and third prizes in the Cowbridge Art Group Annual Student Awards. [aoa id=”1″] The winner was Miri Hughes from Cardiff, who was awarded the prize certificate and £75, for producing a bilingual book design exploring the Welsh folk tale Blodeuwedd from the Mabinogion. Pupils have been putting their mark on two new schools in Denbighshire, which will see nearly £10million invested in rural education in the county. Students from Ysgol Carreg Emlyn and Ysgol Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd have taken part in panel signing ceremonies as work on both schools progresses.
