The historic Caerwys Agricultural Show returns this Saturday, 13th June with gates opening at 9am at Ty Ucha Farm Fields, Caerwys. Thousands of people are expected at Caerwys for one of North Wales’ most-loved agricultural events. A Swansea based runner sharing her journey of living and training with a rare autoimmune condition will be taking on the Brecon Carreg Porthcawl 10K to help raise awareness and inspire others. Ela Titley was diagnosed with Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-Associated Disease (MOGAD) when she was 17. It meant her immune system mistakenly attacks the protein covering the nerves in her central nervous system, causing inflammation in the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves, leading to vision loss, weakness and paralysis. While Welsh businesses recorded a sharper fall in output in May, the latest Cymru Growth Tracker from NatWest highlights continued improvement in demand trends, with the decline in new orders easing further. At 45.8 in May, the headline Wales Business Activity Index – a seasonally adjusted index that measures the month-on-month change in the combined output of the area’s manufacturing and service sectors – was down from 47.9 in April, and indicated a strong drop in output levels at Welsh companies.
