A 26-player squad has been selected for a February training camp at the Vale Resort as Cymru’s preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Round get underway. Wales & West Utilities is continuing its work to upgrade the gas pipes supplying homes and businesses across Wales and south west England and has announced an £81 million investment programme during 2021. Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Tomasz Waga. Tomasz’s body was discovered by a member of the public at approximately 11.30pm on Thursday, January 28 in Westville Road, Penylan. Two men aged 29 and 23 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody at Cardiff Bay Police Station. Forensic examination of a flat in Penlline Road, Whitchurch, is continuing following their arrest on Monday evening. A social care boss has revealed the second wave of coronavirus has been even more deadly than the first surge. The average house price in Wales has topped £200,000 for the first time, and now stands at £209,723, despite a series of lockdowns in 2020. The figures have been released from Principality Building Society’s Wales House Price Index for Q4 2020 (October-December), which demonstrates the rise and fall in house prices in each of the 22 local authorities in Wales. Plans for a long-awaited new Wellbeing Hub in Cardiff have been unveiled following months of work between Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Llanedeyrn Health Centre and Cardiff Council. Thanks to a £14 million pound investment from Welsh Government, construction will start on the new Wellbeing Hub @ Maelfa from Monday 15 February.
