More than 1,300 hikers went the extra mile along the Gower Peninsula on 27th June taking on a Macmillan Cancer Support Mighty Hike and raising an incredible £477,649 so far to help fund vital Macmillan information and support services for people living with cancer. Walking 13 or 26 miles along the stunning coastline, hikers faced a physically demanding challenge, powered by personal reasons, determination and a shared commitment to support others. Cardiff City FC Community Foundation has generated more than £66 million in social value over the last two seasons, new independent analysis has found. The official charity of Cardiff City Football Club delivered £32.9 million in social value in 2024/25 alone, with every £1 invested in its work returning £19 in benefits for people and communities across Cardiff and South Wales.
